Rajasthan election update: ‘Congress will form government with majority’ Ashok Gehlot – Dotasara’s claim to change history

Jaipur : Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Wednesday that from the reaction of the people and the atmosphere in the state, it seems that Congress government will be formed in the state once again. Elections for 199 out of 200 assembly seats in the state were held on November 25 and the counting of votes will take place on December 3. The election on Karanpur seat has been postponed due to the death of the Congress candidate. When asked how many seats Congress is expected to get in the assembly elections, Gehlot refused to make any speculations while talking to reporters here.

Undercurrent environment: Ashok Gehlot

He said, ‘I cannot say how many seats Congress will win… I never calculate. But broadly speaking, I feel the atmosphere is ‘under current’ (atmosphere in favor of the government). From the reactions that are coming, it is clear that (people) want to repeat the government this time. Before leaving for Delhi, Gehlot said, ‘The parents are the public only. Will accept their decision with full humility.

BJP people in Kanhaiya Lal murder case

Gehlot once again accused party leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Ministers of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-ruled states of aggressive campaigning in Rajasthan, of using inflammatory language.

He said that BJP raised the issue of Kanhaiya Lal murder case. Gehlot reiterated his allegation that the people involved in this massacre were associated with BJP. The Congress leader said that Rajasthan Police caught the murder accused within two hours of the incident but BJP leaders did not talk about it. Gehlot said that Congress fought this assembly election on the issue of development and governance.

Dotasara said – the agenda of religious polarization failed

Meanwhile, Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasara has also expressed confidence that Congress will once again form a government with full majority in the state. Along with this, he said that BJP’s agenda of religious polarization has failed in the state. Dotasara told the media here, ‘After the voting, the trends that are coming from the public and political analysts, only one thing is coming out that it is not the rule but the customs that will change in Rajasthan. Congress party will once again come to power in Rajasthan with full majority.

Rajasthan’s model discussed in the entire country

Dotasara said, ‘Religious polarization is the main agenda for the opposition party Bharatiya Janata Party, but the way our government worked by taking everyone along… this agenda could not be implemented in Rajasthan.’ Discussing the ambitious plans of the state government.
