In the new Netflix documentary ‘Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli’, the film director said that even if some personal incident happens in his/her life, it cannot make him/her a believer. Rajamouli also remembered the moment when any person would remember God. But he/she did not do anything like that.

SS Rajamouli Mouli told how his/her wife Ram Rajamouli had a terrible road accident. She was badly injured. But the director was busy shooting for Ram Charan starrer ‘Magadheera’ at that time. When he/she came to know about this incident, he/she was shocked. he/she started crying. he/she talked to all the doctors he/she knew. his/her wife had lost a lot of blood. And Ram Rajamouli’s lower back was paralyzed due to the shock.

Rajamouli did not ask for help from God

he/she said, ‘The nearest hospital from where the accident happened was 60 kilometers away. I was very scared. The only thing going on in my mind was should I pray to God for help? But I didn’t do that. I just kept crying like crazy. And kept calling doctors. I kept doing whatever I felt was necessary at that time. I think I chose my Karma Yoga at that time because my work is my God. I have a lot of respect for cinema.’

Rajamouli’s father spoke on his/her son being an atheist

The Netflix documentary also features his/her father and writer V Vijayendra Prasad, who revealed that the family is very spiritual and religious but Rajamouli’s atheism never became a cause of discord in the family. he/she said, ‘For a person who follows atheism, he/she must have high moral fibre. I respect such a person a lot.’
