Kissing Zeenat Aman proved costly, Dev Anand got jealous

Raj Kapoor had settled down, but because of him/her Dev Anand and Zeenat Aman’s relationship broke up. According to reports, romance between Zeenat Aman and Dev Anand began during the shooting of ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’. Both wanted to spend time with each other. Dev Anand wanted to take Zeenat Aman on a date and propose to her in a romantic way. But on the same day, Dev Anand and Zeenat Aman had to go to the screening of Raj Kapoor’s film ‘Ishq Ishq Ishq’. This was in the year 1974. Dev Anand planned to go on a date after the premiere, but things went wrong before that. Dev Anand also mentioned this in his/her book ‘Romancing with Life’.

This would have made his/her evening even more wonderful. Yet, he/she went ahead and kissed the one whom I considered my only asset, my discovery, my leading lady. I was jealous of him/her.’ Dev Anand believed that he/she alone had the right to Zeenat because he/she gave her a big break. he/she fell madly in love with the actress.
