Raima Sen will work in grandmother Suchitra Sen’s biopic! She spoke on marriage and life partner

Bollywood actress Raima Sen has worked in many films. Now she is seen in ‘Alia Basu Gayab Hai’. This film has been released on 9 August, in which Vinay Pathak and Salim Diwan are seen with her. In an interview given to ‘ETimes’, she has expressed her desire to work in the biopic of her grandmother Suchitra Sen, from her role in this movie. Along with this, she has also shared her views on marriage and the changing roles of women in films. Raima Sen talked about the film ‘Alia Basu Gayab Hai’. Told that it was very challenging for her to do this film. She has also done action in this movie. Also, there was a ball in her mouth most of the time, which made it difficult to speak, shout and scream. ‘Hours after wearing the ball gag, my mouth started hurting and sometimes it would even get cut. Working on it was interesting and challenging, especially because throughout the film, I am actually just tied to the bed. So it was very challenging.’

People had a lot of expectations from Raima Sen

Raima Sen also talked about people’s expectations when she entered the film industry. She said, ‘When I first entered the film industry as the granddaughter of Sachitra Sen and the daughter of Honamon Sen, there were a lot of expectations from me. However, with time, especially after films like Chokhir Bali, I made my own place. Now, I have a lot of expectations from myself with every film.’

Raima Sen wants a life partner like this

When Raima Sen was asked if she would like to play Suchitra Sen’s role if her biopic is ever made, the actress said that if a good script comes, she would definitely like to play her grandmother’s role in it. Apart from this, she said about marriage and life partner, ‘I believe that everyone has their own opinion on marriage. For me, if marriage has to happen, it will happen. I am not waiting for it impatiently. My ideal partner should have a sense of humor, he/she should have more knowledge, should be intelligent. Should be good looking. And most importantly, he/she should be understanding. Who supports my growth and lets both of us move forward together.’
