Therefore, 20 special trains are being operated through Ghaziabad. That is why to control the ever-increasing crowd on the platform, the price of platform ticket has been increased, platform ticket of 10 will now be available for 30. Along with this, a checking campaign will also be conducted by the Railways. If anyone does not get a platform ticket, then a fine will also be imposed on him.

The price was ever increased by 5 times

Last year, in view of the increasing cases of corona, the railways had increased the platform ticket price five times. Platform ticket prices were increased from Rs 10 to Rs 50 at most stations across the country. However, later it was reduced. Railways do this to reduce the congestion on the platform. The Northern Railway including the South has also been doing this kind of work during the festive season. During Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath, the main railway stations here are very crowded. Hence platform ticket prices are increased at railway stations like Delhi Junction, New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin.
