Raid at 22 locations in 6 states, big action by NIA in human trafficking case, what was achieved?

New Delhi: National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided 22 places in 6 states in the human trafficking case. NIA has carried out this major action on suspicion of foreign involvement. According to the information received, this raid is going on in 6 states and it has international links with many countries. The National Investigating Agency had registered a case in 2024. The National Investigating Agency has taken this major action in the cyber fraud case. Through cyber fraud, the youth of Bihar Gopalganj were lured in the name of job abroad, then when they went abroad, they were held hostage in a fake call center and were made to commit cyber fraud. There is a possibility of this racket having links with Myanmar and Laos. Earlier, on October 5, NIA had simultaneously raided 22 locations in 5 states on suspicion of terrorist conspiracy and terror funding.

This raid was conducted by NIA in Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Delhi. This action was taken regarding matters related to terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. The NIA had also conducted raids in Baramulla and other areas in Jammu and Kashmir. The house of Maulvi Iqbal Bhat in Baramulla was searched by NIA with the help of security forces. On October 1, raids were conducted in several districts of West Bengal. On October 1, the NIA team had raided 11 places in South 24 Parganas, Asansol, Howrah, Nadia and Kolkata.
