India Today’s Mood of the Nation survey has revealed that the rating gap between Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi has reduced. According to the results of the survey on who is best suited to become the next Prime Minister, 49 percent of the people chose Narendra Modi as the next leader. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi was chosen by 22.4 percent of the people. PM Modi has seen a six-point drop this time compared to the February 2024 edition of Mood of the Nation and Rahul Gandhi has seen an eight-point increase in the same period.

According to the survey, the NDA is likely to get 43.7 percent votes. The survey showed that the party’s vote share would also increase to 25.4 percent if the elections were held today. In the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress got 21.20 percent votes, higher than the 19.46 percent it got in 2019.
