Rahul Gandhi will go to America, his/her first foreign tour after becoming the Leader of Opposition, know what will be the schedule

New Delhi: Leader of the Opposition and Member of Parliament in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi he/she is going on a US tour in the second week of September. This will be his/her first foreign tour after becoming the Leader of Opposition. Sam Pitroda, President of the Congress Department Overseas Congress, gave this information. he/she says that this will be a brief tour of Rahul Gandhi, in which he/she will talk to NRIs, students, educationists, businessmen, leaders, media, technocrats and many other personalities. According to Pitroda, ever since Rahul Gandhi became the Leader of Opposition, he/she has been receiving a large number of requests from people of Indian origin, diplomats, educationists, leaders, businessmen, international media that they want to talk to him/her. In view of this, this tour has been organized.

The tour is from 8 to 10 September

Under this program, Rahul Gandhi will be in Dallas on 8th September and in Washington DC on 9th and 10th September. In Dallas, he/she will meet students, academicians and people of the Indian community of the University of Texas. During this time, the Congress has also planned a big community meeting of Rahul with technical experts, while Rahul will have dinner with the leaders of Dallas. In Washington DC, Rahul will meet representatives of different sections including think tanks and National Press Club.

Schedule shortened for Jammu and Kashmir elections

It is being told that earlier Rahul Gandhi’s tour was to be long, but it has been shortened in view of the elections in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier last year, Rahul Gandhi visited the US and the UK at different times. In his/her last US tour, he/she went to San Francisco, where he/she held a program to meet and interact with Indian students, while in March 2023 he/she went on a UK tour.

Rahul Gandhi will hold two rallies in Jammu and Kashmir on September 4

Rahul Gandhi will visit Jammu and Kashmir in the first week of September in view of the elections there. On 4 September, he/she will hold a rally in Jammu and another in Kashmir in view of the first phase of voting in the state. This information was given by Congress General Secretary Ghulam Ahmed Mir. In this tour, he/she will campaign for the candidates of India Alliance. Rahul will hold a rally in Doru of South Kashmir and the other rally in Jammu region. It is worth mentioning that after concluding his/her Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir, the craze of people for Rahul Gandhi has increased there. It is said that the Congress is constantly receiving demands for Rahul’s visit from the local leaders.
