‘Pushpa’ was a web series, there was no part 1 and 2… Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat had said this 2 years ago

Sukumar’s film ‘Pushpa 2’ has taken a storm at the box office. The film has touched the figure of Rs 600 crore worldwide in three days. In this, Allu Arjun played the role of Pushpa Raj, Rashmika Mandanna played the role of Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil played the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, who is a police officer. An old interview of his/her from 2022 is going viral, in which he/she is telling that ‘Pushpa’ was not going to be a film but a web series! Fahadh Faasil claimed in an interview given to Q Studio that when Sukumar first approached him/her about this project When he/she was approached for this, it was just a film in which his/her character was going to come at the interval point. he/she said, ‘There was no Pushpa 1, Pushpa 2, there was only one Pushpa. he/she first narrated me the scene of the police station, then the interval and then the part of my character.

Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil were not the first choice for ‘Pushpa’, 3 veterans had rejected the film.

The actor further said, ‘he/she wanted to tell the story of a person who has no identity and who achieves everything in life. he/she fulfills his/her mother’s dream, overcomes the difficulties of childhood… Then along comes a person who reminds him/her of all his/her problems again.

Sukumar divided it into two parts and there is scope for a third part also.

However, Sukumar soon decided to divide the film into two parts. Even told Fahadh that there is scope for a third part also. he/she said, ‘Initially the concept of Lal Chandan… Sukku sir was going to make a web series for Netflix, which means there is a lot of content in it. That’s why he/she wanted to end Pushpa 2 from where it all started.

Fahadh further said, ‘After joining the shooting, he/she also told me that even though he/she had given me my lines in advance, he/she would change them during the shooting. But he/she gave me time to learn. What more do you want from a filmmaker?’

‘Pushpa 3’ has been announced

‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is the sequel to the 2021 film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. The film ends by concluding the story of ‘Pushpa 3: The Rampage’. However, it is not clear whether Fahadh’s character Bhanwar will be a part of it or not. The makers have not yet given any information on when its shooting will start and when it will be released.
