‘Pushpa 2’ lost to ‘Stree 2’ on the 40th day, still created a stir! There will be a double explosion on 17 January

Allu Arjun’s all-time blockbuster ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ continues to shine even after 40 days. While on one hand the newly released films like ‘Game Changer’ and ‘Fateh’ are struggling at the box office, on the other hand ‘Pushpa 2’ has done business of Rs. crores even on its sixth Monday. In terms of earnings on the 40th day, it is in a better position than Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’. Whereas it has definitely lagged behind Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s ‘Stree 2’. However, this film can do a double blast on Friday, January 17. ‘Pushpa 2’, directed by Sukumar, has become the highest grossing Indian film in the country. It has created history by earning more than Rs 802 crore in Hindi alone. Meanwhile, the makers are going to release a reloaded version of the film by adding 20 minutes of extra footage. Pushpa 2: The Rule Reloaded version will be released on Friday, January 17. The same day has also been announced as ‘National Cinema Lovers’ Day, when tickets will be available at Rs 99 in multiplexes. That means ‘Pushpa 2’ has a chance to do double blast on 17th January.

According to the report of sacnilk, ‘Pushpa 2’ has made a net collection of Rs 1.00 crore in the country on Monday. This is the lowest earning of the film till date. A day earlier on Sunday, it had earned Rs 2.35 crore. This film starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil has earned a total of Rs 1221.55 crore in the country in 40 days.

If we compare the earnings on the 40th day at the box office, ‘Pushpa 2’ has defeated Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’, which had earned Rs 76 lakh on the 40th day. However, it has definitely lagged behind ‘Stree 2’, which had done a business of Rs 1.35 crore on the 40th day. It was Monday for both these films also.

Talking about the worldwide collection of ‘Pushpa 2’, it has made a gross collection of Rs 1727 crore in 40 days. ‘Pushpa 2’ is currently at number three in the list of highest-grossing Indian films at the global box office. Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ is at the top in this list with the earning of Rs 2070.30 crore. Whereas ‘Bahubali 2’ which has gross business of Rs 1788.06 crore is at second place. Apparently, the makers are trying to ensure that ‘Pushpa 2’ beats Prabhas’s film in lifetime worldwide earnings, although it still needs Rs 61.06 crore more.
