Punjab Excise and Taxation Inspector Eligibility: Qualification

To become a Punjab Excise and Taxation Inspector, candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university. Also, it is necessary to have minimum 120 hours course (from ISO 9001 certified institute) or ‘O’ level DOEACC course related to computer application or IT. Excise Inspector Recruitment 2025: Age Limit

• Age limit- To participate in this recruitment of Punjab, the minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years and maximum age should be 37 years. For SC/BC, up to 42 years, (State/Central employees) 45 years and disabled candidates can apply up to a maximum of 47 years.
• Salary- Candidates selected for the post of Punjab Excise and Taxation Inspector will get a monthly salary of Rs 35,400 as per 7th Pay Commission.
• Selection Process- Candidates will be selected for this post of Inspector through written examination, physical, document verification and medical test etc.
• Application fee- While applying the recruitment form, general category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000. Whereas SC/BC/EWS will have to pay a fee of Rs 250, ex-servicemen and their dependents will have to pay Rs 200, and disabled candidates will have to pay Rs 500.

The written examination of Punjab Excise and Taxation Inspector will be objective type. There will be two parts of the exam.
