Gujarat answered this by scoring 511 runs. In this way, Gujarat took a huge lead of 295 runs in the first innings against Saurashtra.

The quarter -final match between Mumbai and Haryana was played in Kolkata. Mumbai scored 315 runs while batting first. Haryana gave a befitting reply to Mumbai by scoring 301 runs.
