Parent teacher meeting in Haryana colleges: On the lines of schools, preparations are being made for Parents Teacher Meeting (PTM) in colleges as well. Regarding this, the Higher Education Department has asked the college to start PTM on a regular basis for students of all semesters. Actually, as soon as students reach college from school, they become very careless about attendance. From bunking college to studying, students are not able to be that regular. In such a situation, teachers will be able to keep direct contact with parents through PTM.

Attendance report will be available on the app

In this, the attendance report will be sent to the parents every month. Because 75 percent attendance is compulsory to appear in the college exam. But due to not fulfilling the attendance ratio by the students, they have to pay a fine. Therefore, soon an online application is also going to be prepared by the department. Through this, the attendance status of the students will be uploaded in the app daily.

When will PTM start and what will happen in it?

In this PTM, the progress report of the students will be discussed. Teachers will inform the parents about the progress of the students in their studies and what activities are to be conducted in the college in future. In which areas the student is doing better and in which areas the situation is not good right now. All these discussions will also be done in this meeting.

Madhu Arora, Principal of Government PG College, Sector 9, said that PTM will be conducted in the college on the coming Saturday. Parents of all the students have been called for this. Here, parents of students of the new session as well as old students will be informed about the progress report of the students.
