PSL Players Draft: The players’ draft for the eighth season of Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be done on December 15. More than 500 players have given their names for this draft, including Aaron Finch and Matthew Wade of Australia. The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction is to be held on December 23 and before that the Pakistan Cricket Board has played a big bet by holding its auction. There are many players who will also participate in the IPL auction and now they will also participate in the PSL auction.
Most players from England will be part of the draft
According to Geo news, the maximum number of 138 players for the draft are from England. Apart from this, 46 players from Afghanistan, 16 from Australia, 30 from Bangladesh, six from New Zealand, 26 from South Africa, 62 from Sri Lanka, 11 from Zimbabwe and 40 from West Indies have given their names for the draft. Players are going to be included in three categories Platinum, Diamond and Gold. Many of these players will also be part of the IPL auction, so the IPL franchises will definitely want to keep an eye on them during the PSL draft.
Platinum Category: Aaron Finch, Matthew Wade, Shakib Al Hasan, Alex Hales, David Willey, Dawid Malan, Jimmy Neesham, Moeen Ali, David Miller, Adil Rashid, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Dasun Shanaka, Wanindu Hasaranga, Kieron Pollard, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Mohammad Nabi, Martin Guptill and Lungi Ngidi.
