Producers cheated Govinda, wife Sunita fought when he/she did not give money, told how the deal was done

Govinda’s wife Sunita has played an important role in his/her career. She was not only his/her manager, but also looked after his/her money transactions and other finances. he/she took full care that Govinda gets his/her rights and no one cheats him/her. But Govinda faced a lot of betrayals and Sunita had to face a lot of difficulties in dealing with him/her. he/she revealed in an interview that Govinda was cheated by some producers. According to Sunita, she had also told Govinda that he/she was being fooled. Sunita told in a conversation with Hauterrfly that there were many producers who did not give Govinda his/her money and kept cheating.

‘People did not give him/her money and Govinda used to say let him/her go’

Sunita said, ‘I used to look after Govinda’s work. Being a manager, I have seen that people did not give him/her money and Govinda used to say let it go, his/her show might not have gone well. But whenever such a situation arose, I used to ask Govinda why? You danced. Did it or not? You worked hard. he/she is fooling you, I can tell.

‘I tell the producers, who are you fooling?’

Sunita said that Govinda is very emotional and he/she trusts others easily. According to Sunita, the producers took advantage of this nature of Govinda and did not pay him/her the money. She said, ‘Chichi Bhaiya, the tickets are not sold.’ I will give you Rs 20-25 lakh later. But I did not agree and said, who is he/she fooling? I was standing there and saw that the show was housefull.

Govinda’s 15 films are still awaiting release, the actor had said – There are some people who do not want me to come on screen.

‘The film industry started thinking bad of me

According to Sunita, due to this attitude of hers, she started being seen as a bad person in the industry. People started considering him/her wrong. But this did not make any difference to Sunita. She said, ‘It didn’t matter to me if he/she cursed me. I will stand in front of them and take my rights. I will tell Govinda to do his/her work and dance and leave the rest to me.
