Priyanka Gandhi Oath LIVE: Priyanka Gandhi’s parliamentary innings begins, will take oath as Lok Sabha MP today

New Delhi: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s innings of parliamentary democracy will start from today. Priyanka has reached the Lok Sabha after winning from Wayanad by more than four lakh votes. Today she will take the oath of office and secrecy in the Lok Sabha.

In the Wayanad by-election held on the seat vacated by Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka has won by more than 4 lakh votes. After this, Congress Party made Priyanka its candidate from Wayanad. In this way, from today onwards three people from the Gandhi family will start appearing in Parliament.

Rahul Gandhi is the MP from Rae Bareli, Priyanka has been elected from Wayanad while Sonia Gandhi is the Rajya Sabha MP. The winter session of Parliament has started from Monday. It will run till 20th December. It is believed that Priyanka will now corner the central government in the Lok Sabha along with brother Rahul. Even before reaching the Parliament, Priyanka Gandhi has been continuously cornering the government on the functioning of the Modi government.

Priyanka had campaigned vigorously in the assembly elections from Himachal to Kerala and Karnataka. Priyanka had also taken charge of the campaign in Telangana. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will administer him/her the oath today. Meanwhile, the opposition party has made a strategy to corner the Modi government today on issues ranging from Adani to inflation.

Even in the Lok Sabha elections, Priyanka Gandhi campaigned across the country along with her brother Rahul. She has been highly critical of many issues of the Centre. Now as an MP, she will attack the functioning of the Modi government in the House.
