New Delhi : A big scam has come to light between CGHS and private hospitals. In this, hospitals which did not meet CGHS standards were also being included in the CGHS panel by taking money. Along with this, the money of demand drafts of Rs 1 lakh each of some private hospitals was embezzled by signing fake documents. This case has come to light in the CGHS office in Jaipur. After receiving the complaint, the CBI has registered an FIR in this case. In this case, the CBI also raided the accused’s hideouts in Jaipur and Ajmer.

Complaint was received in CGHS Jaipur office

CBI said that in this case, a complaint was received from Dr. Meeta Bhasin, Additional Director of CGHS Jaipur. In this, information was given about the illegal business between CGHS Jaipur and some private hospitals. CBI said that at present, the role of a clerk named Rahul Sharma working in CGHS is coming to the fore. But there is a doubt that this work cannot be done by one person alone. Other officers or lower level employees working in CGHS may also be involved in this. The investigation of which has been started.

CBI said that the name of a woman named Garima is also coming up in this case. Apart from this, there is a suspicion that government and private people may be involved in this racket on a large scale. A CBI official said that in this case, CBI registered a case against the accused employee working in CGHS and the representative of a private hospital having nexus with it and raided their hideouts.

Hospitals were not meeting the set standards

It is alleged that the accused clerk working in CGHS Jaipur along with some of his/her associates was committing the illegal business of getting such private hospitals included in the CGHS panel by taking bribe. Those hospitals which were not meeting the prescribed procedure for inclusion in the CGHS panel were included in the CGHS panel. The high officials of the Union Health Ministry came to know about this. An internal investigation was started in the matter. After this, when the matter was exposed, the case was handed over to the CBI for further investigation. It is suspected that this illegal business is being carried out on a large scale.
