Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a long conversation with the coach of Team India…


The players of the Indian cricket team who won the T20 Cricket World Cup met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today. PM Modi talked to each player separately and learned about their experiences of the final match. The players who arrived from Barbados early this morning went straight from the Indian airport to the Prime Minister’s official residence. PM Modi had invited them for breakfast.

While meeting all the players, Narendra Modi also got to know about the experiences of Indian team coach Rahul Dravid. This was Rahul Dravid’s last match. his/her contract ended after this series.

After meeting the Prime Minister, all the players left for Mumbai. A grand welcome program has been arranged for them in Mumbai. According to BCCI, a grand welcome has been arranged for Team India
A one kilometre long victory procession will be taken out from Nariman Point to Wankhede. After the roadshow, the winning team will also be felicitated at the Wankhede Stadium. The BCCI has announced a cash prize of Rs 124 crore for the winning team.

Let us tell you that Team India, led by Captain Rohit Sharma, won the T20 World Cup by defeating South Africa by 7 runs in the final match at Kensington Oval on Saturday, 29 June. India has won this cup for the second time. After the competition, the Indian team could not return home due to bad weather.

The BCCI had arranged a special chartered flight of Air India to bring the team. The plane arrived at Bridgetown’s Grantley Adams International Airport from New Jersey in the early hours of Wednesday. It then departed from Bridgetown at 4:50 am.
