Amit Shah will inaugurate today

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will today inaugurate Prerna School located in Vadnagar in Mehsana district of Gujarat. Preparations are in full swing in the city before Amit Shah’s visit. Shah will also address a public meeting at the school at 2 pm during his/her Vadnagar visit. After this, he/she will inaugurate the sports complex built at a cost of Rs 33.50 crore. Features of Prerna School

This school was built at a cost of Rs 72 crore. Here ancient Indian knowledge will be taught along with modern technology. The sports complex here has been built by the Sports Authority of Gujarat. State level competitions of games like badminton, kabaddi, kho-kho, table tennis and football can be organized in this complex. Players will also get coaching here. This complex has been constructed in 34,235 square feet. Along with this, a sports hostel has also been constructed, in which 100 boys and 100 girls can stay. In this, modern machines of Special Room, Visitor Room, Rector’s Quarter, Recreation Room, Pantry, Store Room, Wash Room, Change Room, Solar System, RO System, CCTV and Kitchen have been installed. What is Prerna Scheme?

Prerna School is being operated under the Prerna Scheme of the Modi Government. It has been prepared on the initiative of the Union Education Ministry to give a wonderful experience to the youth of the country. Under this, students are selected from across the country and they are made a part of this value based curriculum. This curriculum has been prepared under NEP 2020. How to go to Prerna School?

Programs are regularly run here for the students. This is a weekly programme, i.e. of one week. A batch of 20 students, 10 boys and 10 girls, are taken for the one-week Prerna Programme. They are selected from 10 different districts of the country. Children who want to go here can register online through prerna portal. This scheme is for children from class 9 to 12.
