Actor Prateik Babbar has earlier also talked about his/her battle with drugs and addiction. She recently dismissed long-standing rumors that she started using drugs after entering the film industry. he/she spoke openly about this and you too will be shocked to hear his/her words. In an interview with ‘Bollywood Bubble’, the actor talked about the misconceptions and said, ‘I just want to say that people think, ‘Oh, he/she came into films, got fame and money and then started doing drugs.’ My drug use started when I was thirteen, even before I turned twelve. Yes, I was scared. Unfortunately, I had a different upbringing and my family situation was a bit difficult. So I started taking drugs. It is not that fame and money in films took me in this direction.

Prateik, son of late actress Smita Patil and Raj Babbar, further said that the pain of those early experiences still affects their relationships. ‘Drugs are linked to trauma, you understand,’ he/she said. Until that pain goes away, it will continue to impact relationships. But there comes a time when you have to work to make things better, which I have been doing for many years.
