According to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the accident happened due to a pothole coming in the way of Rishabh Pant. He said that the Indian cricketer tried to avoid the pits, after which he became a victim of the accident. In fact, on Sunday, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami had come to meet Rishabh Pant at Max Hospital in Dehradun. The Indian cricketer met with an accident on the highway near Narsan. According to the local people, accidents often happen due to potholes on the road. Because of this many people have lost their lives.
What did Rishabh Pant say on the incident?
In fact, the Indian wicket-keeper batsman had said that he fell victim to the accident due to a nap, but later the DDCA told the main reason for the accident was a pothole in the road. Apart from this, seeing the speed of Rishabh Pant’s vehicle in the CCTV footage, overspeeding was considered as the main reason. On the basis of CCTV footage, it was claimed that Rishabh Pant’s car is covering a distance of 200 meters in just 5 seconds. Thus the speed of the car was around or above 150 kmph. However, the police have dismissed the matter of overspeeding.
