New Delhi: The great festival of folk faith, Chhath, is being celebrated in many states including Bihar-Jharkhand. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended best wishes to everyone for the evening Arghya of Chhath festival on Thursday. PM Modi wrote in the post on X, ‘My best wishes to all of you on the holy occasion of Sandhya Arghya of Chhath. May this great festival, a symbol of simplicity, restraint, determination and dedication, bring happiness, prosperity and good fortune in everyone’s life. Jai Chhathi Maiya!’ Earlier, on November 5, PM Modi along with Nahay-Khay Chhath festival Even when it was started, he/she had given good wishes to the countrymen.

With the blessings of Chhathi Maiya, I wish that all your rituals get completed successfully. Today, in the festival of Chhath, Arghya is being offered to the setting sun.

The Prime Minister has also given a greeting message to the people on this special occasion. he/she said that my best wishes to all of you on the holy occasion of Evening Arghya of Chhath. Congress President Kharge also gave best wishes for Chhath festival.

Chhath festival celebrated across the country

The four-day Chhath Puja, a symbol of folk faith, is being celebrated across the country. Nahay-Khay is offered on the first day of Chhath festival, Kharna is offered on the second day and Arghya is offered to the Sun God on the third and fourth days. Evening Arghya is offered on the third day and morning Arghya is offered on the fourth day. Today, on the third day of Chhath, many big leaders wished the countrymen a happy Chhath.
