PM Modi spoke to President Putin over the phone, know what he/she said about the Russia-Ukraine war

New Delhi: PM Modi had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. PM Modi’s conversation with the Russian President is considered very important after his/her recent return from Poland and Ukraine tour. PM Modi tweeted the information about his/her conversation with the Russian President through his/her social media platform X.

Emphasis on peaceful solution to Ukraine conflict

PM Modi wrote that he/she spoke to President Putin today. The Prime Minister said that he/she discussed measures to further strengthen the special and strategic partnership with the Russian President. he/she further said that he/she exchanged views on the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the perspective gained from his/her recent visit to Ukraine. PM Modi wrote that he/she reiterated India’s firm commitment to support an early, lasting and peaceful solution to the conflict. Earlier, the President of Ukraine had named India for peace talks with Russia.

Ukraine visit was told historic

Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned home on August 24 after completing his/her two-nation visit to Poland and Ukraine. Regarding the Ukraine visit, PM Modi had said that my visit to Ukraine was historic. I came to this great country with the aim of further strengthening India-Ukraine friendship. Modi had said that my talks with President Zelensky were fruitful. India firmly believes that peace should always prevail. he/she had said that I thank the government and people of Ukraine for their hospitality.
