PM Modi: PM Modi said in G20 meeting – India started ‘International Big Cat Alliance’ to save the earth

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the Ministerial level meeting of Environment and Climate Sustainability being held in Chennai through video conferencing. In his address, PM Modi said that India has recently started the International Big Cat Alliance. Conservation of these animals is very important to save our earth. Based on the learnings from Project Tiger, this important initiative has been taken. Because of Project Tiger, 70 percent of the world’s tigers are now found in India. Also we are working on Project Lion and Project Dolphin.

India is ahead in solar energy

The Prime Minister said in his address through video conferencing that ‘Today India is one of the top five countries in the world in terms of installed renewable energy capacity. We will continue to collaborate with our partners through our alliances including the International Solar Alliance, CDRI and the Leadership Group for Industry Transformation. India has been a consistent leader in working on biodiversity conservation, protection and promotion.
