PM Modi mentioned Kumbh in Kuwait, India-Middle East Europe Economic Corridor will give new direction to the world


New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Reached Kuwait on Saturday on a two-day visit. This is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Kuwait in nearly 43 years. During this, PM Modi addressed Indian expatriates in Kuwait City. he/she appreciated the age-old trade relations between India and Kuwait. India Middle East Europe Economic Corridor was described as a new direction for the world. PM Modi invited people to visit India in the ‘Hala Modi’ event. he/she urged to visit India on the occasion of Kumbh Mela, Republic Day and other festivals.

PM Modi addressed Indian immigrants

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the people of Kuwait should also encourage NRIs to visit India. During this, he/she took a dig at the previous governments and said that it took him/her only 4 hours to reach Kuwait, whereas it took 43 years for any Indian Prime Minister to reach here. PM Modi also visited a labor camp in Meena Abdullah, where he/she interacted with around 1500 Indian workers and inquired about their well-being.

India-Kuwait trade relations highly praised

Prime Minister Modi spoke at the ‘Hala Modi’ event with the Indian community in Kuwait. he/she recalled the strong trade relations between India and Kuwait dating back to the 19th century. India-Middle East Economic Corridor was described as a new route for the world. he/she said that this corridor will give a new direction to the world. Discussed common goals like developed India and New Kuwait. India’s skill and creativity can increase immense possibilities of cooperation between the two countries. The Prime Minister also mentioned India’s contribution to the world’s health through Ayurveda.

PM Modi said that even in the 19th century, trade relations between India and Kuwait were strong. We have a common sea, common affection, common trade and most importantly, common sensibilities. he/she said that India’s traditional Ayurveda and AYUSH products are improving the health of the world. From Nalanda to IIT, India’s knowledge tradition is strengthening the world. India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor was announced at the G-20 Summit last year. This corridor will give a new direction to the world.

Indian immigrants invited to come to Kumbh

In the ‘Hala Modi’ program, PM Modi invited migrants to come to India. he/she said, come to India to witness the festive season, Kumbh Mela and Republic Day. Motivate the people of Kuwait also to visit India. he/she said that India has become digitally smart and this is just the beginning. Talking about the partnership between the two countries, the Prime Minister described it as the need for ‘skill, creativity, technology and human resources’. Also highlighted how India is working in this direction with countries like Kuwait and Italy.
