Which three ministers did PM Modi give?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given three mantras to the people to avoid digital arrest. Modi had said in the Mann Ki Baat program that there is no system like digital arrest in the law, it is just a fraud, a deception, a lie, a gang of miscreants and those who are doing this are the enemies of the society. To deal with the fraud going on in its name, all the investigating agencies are working together with the state governments. National Cyber Co-ordination Center has been established to create coordination among these agencies.

Modi further said that let me tell you three steps of digital security. These three steps are – ‘Stop, Think and Take Action’. As soon as the call comes, ‘wait’, don’t panicStay calm, do not take any hasty steps, do not give your personal information to anyone, if possible take screenshots and make recordings.

The second step is ‘Think’- No government agency makes such threats over the phone, nor interrogates over video calls, nor demands money like this. If you feel scared, then understand that there is something wrong.

Step Three – ‘Take Action’. Dial National Cyber Helpline 1930, report on http://cybercrime.gov.in, inform family and police, preserve evidence.
