PM Modi 73 times, Rahul Gandhi 6 times… After the President’s address, Congress raised questions on Sansad TV

New Delhi: In the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha, President Draupadi Murmu addressed both the houses today. During this, she presented the outline of the roadmap of the new government for 5 years. After the President’s address was over, Congress has targeted the central government. Opposition leaders have described this road map of projects as a script based on government lies. Along with this, Congress has also made a big claim. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh posted on X and claimed that when President Murmu was giving the address, PM Modi was shown more times and Rahul Gandhi less times. Jairam Ramesh wrote in the post – Who was shown how many times in the 51-minute President’s address? Leader of the House Narendra Modi – 73 times, Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi – 6 times, Government – 108 times, Opposition – 18 times. Sansad TV is for showing the proceedings of the House and not for the narcissism of camera-lovers.

Congress President also targeted the center

In her address on Thursday, President Murmu referred to the Emergency imposed in 1975 and termed it as the ‘biggest and darkest chapter of direct attack on the Constitution’ and said that despite many such attacks, the country has shown victory over unconstitutional forces. After the President’s address, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that after listening to the President’s address ‘written by the Modi government’, it seemed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to deny the mandate of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. he/she also claimed that Prime Minister Modi is trying to praise himself by ‘making the President lie’, whereas the people of the country have rejected him/her.

Akhilesh Yadav also took a dig at the central government

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav attacked the government’s claim of India being the fifth largest economy in the world. he/she said that a story is being told about India becoming the fifth largest economy. Has it made our farmers prosperous? If we are the fifth largest economy, why are so many youths unemployed? Why is there a scheme like Agniveer? Why can’t inflation be controlled?
