Yuzvendra ChahalTeam India’s star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal recently made big revelations about his/her old IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chahal, who played for RCB for 8 years, was released by this team in the mega auction of IPL 2022. After that Chahal has been playing for Rajasthan Royals for the last 2 years. Now Chahal has given many big statements after being dropped from RCB.
What did Chahal say about RCB?
On being dropped from RCB, Chahal said that he/she did not like it at all. Talking to a YouTube channel, Chahal said that of course, I felt very bad. My journey started with this team in 2014. From the very first match, Virat Bhaiya showed faith in me. But, it feels bad because I was playing for the franchise for 8 years. I have seen people. Chahal said that people felt that Yuji must have asked for a lot of money. That’s why I clarified in an interview that I didn’t ask for anything. I know how much I am entitled to.
The franchise did not make a call – Chahal
Chahal further said that the worst thing is that there was no phone call, no conversation. At least talk. I have played 114 matches for them. Before the auction, he/she promised me that he/she would do everything possible for me. I said, ok. When I was not selected there too, I was very angry. I gave him/her 8 years. Chinnaswamy was my favorite ground. I didn’t talk to the coaches of RCB. The first match I played against him/her, I didn’t talk to anyone.
Rajasthan’s team also benefited
Chahal feels that RR has played a role in developing him/her. Chahal further said that Rajasthan Royals played a role in developing him/her cricket-wise. In RCB, Chahal used to complete his/her quota before the death overs started, but in Royals, he/she was entrusted with the responsibility of bowling in the death overs as well. Chahal said that my quota in RCB used to be completed before 16 overs. So, I think I have also grown as a cricketer in RR.
