Plan your first day like this

After reaching Ooty, check in to your hotel. Freshen up and then go for a stroll. Start your trip with the Ooty Botanical Garden, which is a 55-acre green area that displays a variety of plants, flowers and trees. Here you can stroll through the beautiful gardens and enjoy the serene atmosphere.

After that you can go to see Ooty lake or enjoy boating. In the evening you can see the view of Doddabetta Peak, the highest point of Nilgiri, and the sunset.

Start the second day in Ooty with a visit to the Rose Garden, one of the largest rose gardens in India, which has more than 20,000 varieties of roses. In the afternoon, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Nilgiri Mountain Railway (NRM) and travel in a historic train here. During this journey, you will see amazing views of the Nilgiri hills and tea gardens. Seeing which the mind will be happy.

On the third day, after breakfast, reach Coonoor, a beautiful hill station located about 20 km from Ooty. Here you can visit Sim’s Park and see a variety of plants. After this you can go to ‘Lamb’s Rock’, which is located at a distance of 8 km from Coonoor. Here you can see the plains of Coimbatore, tea gardens and coffee plantations.

Make a day trip to Avalanche Lake, located about 28 km from Ooty. Avalanche Lake is a small alpine freshwater lake surrounded by dense forests and is best for nature lovers. In the afternoon, visit the tea plantation to learn about the tea leaf making process and enjoy freshly made tea. You can have lunch at the local tea estate cafe.
