PF account data leaked, there may be a big loss, follow these steps today

New Delhi. Earlier this month, the data of about 28 crore Indians was leaked by hackers. The Ukrainian researcher had disclosed that the hackers had also taken out the bank details including UAN, Name, Martial Status, Aadhaar Details, Gender. Later, during the checking of two IP addresses, two clusters were found. Both were reducing IP addresses on Microsoft’s Azure Cloud Storage Service.

The information was shared by cyber security researcher Bob Diachenko through a post on LinkedIN. This was disclosed about UAN in his post on August 2. After reviewing the cluster, he found that the first cluster contained 280,472,941 records. While the second IP had 8,390,524 records. When the researcher reviewed and shared the information about this, many people’s breath was stuck.

Data was leaked online-

Whereas, it is not yet known. So far only it has come to the fore that both the IP addresses were being hosted from Microsoft’s Azure Platform and both are based in India. Cyber security researcher tried to get other information from DNS analysis, but nothing worked. This was disclosed on August 1. Further research on this is still going on.

Till now not much information about it is available online. However, till now it is not even clear why the hackers had extracted this data regarding the PF account. Name, gender, addhaar details can be used to create fake documents. It is feared that if the hackers have got any other information, then an attempt should also be made to cause financial harm to many people.
