New Delhi. There has been a rise in the prices of crude oil in the global market, the effect of which is also visible on the prices of petrol and diesel released by the government oil companies on Monday morning. Today, the prices of oil have increased in many cities from UP to Bihar, while in many places its prices are also showing a decline. However, even today the prices of oil have not changed in all the four metros of the country like Delhi-Mumbai.
According to government oil companies, petrol became cheaper by 40 paise to Rs 96.60 a liter in Gautam Budh Nagar (Noida-Greater Noida) district of UP, while diesel fell by 37 paise to Rs 89.77 a litre. In Ghaziabad too, petrol has fallen by 32 paise and is priced at Rs 96.26 a litre, while diesel has fallen by 30 paise to Rs 89.45 a litre. Petrol became costlier by 13 paise and reached Rs 96.57 a liter in Lucknow, the capital of UP, while diesel became costlier by 12 paise to Rs 89.76 a litre. In Bihar’s capital Patna, petrol has become costlier by 35 paise to Rs 107.59 a liter and diesel by 32 paise to Rs 94.36 a litre.

Talking about crude oil, its prices have also seen a rise during the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude has increased to $ 87.17 per barrel. The price of WTI has also increased to $80.14 per barrel.
Petrol and diesel prices in all four metros– Petrol Rs 96.65 and diesel Rs 89.82 per liter in Delhi– Petrol Rs 106.31 and diesel Rs 94.27 per liter in Mumbai– Petrol Rs 102.63 and diesel Rs 94.24 per liter in Chennai– Petrol Rs 106.03 and diesel Rs 92.76 per liter in Kolkata
Rates changed in these cities– Petrol in Noida has become Rs 96.60 and diesel Rs 89.77 per liter.– Petrol in Ghaziabad has become Rs 96.26 and diesel Rs 89.45 per litre.– Petrol in Lucknow has become Rs 96.57 and diesel Rs 89.76 per liter.– Petrol in Patna has become Rs 107.59 and diesel Rs 94.36 per liter.
New rates are released every morning at 6 amThere is a change in the prices of petrol and diesel every day at 6 am. The new rates are applicable from 6 am itself. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles from the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
