Petrol Diesel Prices: Expensive crude increased the prices of petrol and diesel, oil became costlier from UP to Bihar, check the latest rate

New Delhi. Crude oil prices are again seeing a jump in the global market and the price of Brent crude has reached up to $ 86 per barrel on Monday. Meanwhile, the prices of petrol and diesel issued by the government oil companies are showing a jump in many states today. Oil prices have increased in many cities of UP and Bihar today. However, there has been no change in the prices of oil in all the four metros of the country like Delhi-Mumbai even today.

According to government oil companies, the price of petrol in UP’s Gautam Budh Nagar district (Noida-Greater Noida) has gone up by 14 paise to Rs 96.79 a liter this morning, while diesel is being sold 14 paise costlier at Rs 89.96 a litre. In Lucknow, the capital of UP, the price of petrol has increased by 13 paise to Rs 96.57 a litre, while diesel has become costlier by 12 paise to Rs 89.76 a litre. In Bihar’s capital Patna, petrol has increased by 56 paise and is being sold at Rs 107.80 a litre, while diesel has gone up by 52 paise to reach Rs 94.56 a litre.

Crude oil prices have also increased in the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude has increased to $ 85.89 per barrel with a big increase. WTI rate has also increased to $79.25 per barrel.

Petrol and diesel prices in all four metros
– Petrol Rs 96.65 and diesel Rs 89.82 per liter in Delhi
– Petrol Rs 106.31 and diesel Rs 94.27 per liter in Mumbai
– Petrol Rs 102.63 and diesel Rs 94.24 per liter in Chennai
– Petrol Rs 106.03 and diesel Rs 92.76 per liter in Kolkata

Rates changed in these cities
– Petrol in Noida has become Rs 96.79 and diesel Rs 89.96 per liter.
– Petrol in Lucknow has become Rs 96.57 and diesel Rs 89.76 per liter.
– Petrol in Patna has become Rs 108.80 and diesel Rs 94.56 per liter.

New rates are released every morning at 6 am
There is a change in the prices of petrol and diesel every day at 6 am. The new rates are applicable from 6 am itself. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles from the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
