Petrol-diesel prices became cheaper in many cities on Sunday, check new rates here

Petrol and Diesel Prices on 26 March 2023: The daily price of petrol and diesel in India is based on the international market crude oil price. Crude oil prices have seen fluctuations in recent times, with WTI Crude Oil trading at $69.26 per barrel and Brent Crude Oil at $74.99 per barrel.

A significant decline was observed in both crude oil on the last trading day. As a result, a decrease in the prices of petrol and diesel is being observed in many cities of the country, including Set Noida and Gurugram from Delhi. However, the prices of petrol and diesel remain stable in all four metros.

Petrol and diesel prices in the four metros are as follows:

  • Delhi: Petrol Rs. 96.72, Diesel Rs. 89.62 per liter
  • Kolkata: Petrol Rs. 106.03, Diesel Rs. 92.76 per liter
  • Chennai: Petrol Rs. 102.63, Diesel Rs. 94.24 per liter
  • Mumbai: Petrol Rs. 106.31, Diesel Rs. 94.27 per liter

Reduction in petrol and diesel prices in these cities:

On Sunday, a reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel is being observed in many cities of India. A reduction of 27 paise in the price of petrol and 26 paise in diesel is recorded in Noida, where it is being sold at Rs. 96.65 and Rs. 89.82 per liter, respectively. In Gurugram, petrol is being sold at Rs. 96.89 (5 paise cheaper) and diesel at Rs. 89.76 (6 paise cheaper) per liter. In Lucknow, the capital of UP, petrol is being sold 4 paise costlier and diesel 3 paise costlier at Rs. 96.47 and Rs. 89.66 per liter, respectively. In Bihar’s capital Patna, petrol is being sold 32 paise cheaper and diesel 30 paise cheaper at Rs. 107.80 and Rs. 94.56 per liter, respectively. In Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, petrol is being sold at Rs. 99.84 (cheaper by Rs. 1.23) and diesel at Rs. 94.65 (cheaper by Rs. 1.22) per liter.
