Perfect 10: Single-handedly defeated the entire team, created history in Ranji for the first time in 39 years


New Delhi. Young fast bowler Anshul Kamboj has created history with his/her sharp bowling. Haryana’s emerging pacer has done the feat of taking 10 wickets in an innings for the first time in 39 years in Ranji Trophy history. he/she achieved this feat in the Haryana vs Kerala match. Both the teams are facing each other at the Chaudhary Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium in Lahli. Kamboj is only the third bowler to make this historic record in Ranji. For 23 years, Kamboj shook Kerala’s batting. he/she created a sensation by single-handedly eliminating the entire team by giving away 49 runs. In front of Anshul’s lethal bowling, Kerala team could score 291 runs in the first innings.

Anshul Kamboj had earlier taken 4 wickets in three matches of the current season. he/she has shown his/her ability by achieving perfect 10. he/she has emerged as a star in the history of Indian domestic cricket by achieving great achievements. Before Anshul, Premangsu Chatterjee of Bengal had taken all 10 wickets for 20 runs against Assam in 1956-57. Pradeep Sunderam of Rajasthan had done this feat against Vidarbha in 1985-86.

Anshul Kamboj has reached second place in the list of best bowling figure in Ranji Trophy history. In this list, Premangsu Chatterjee of Bengal is at the first place, taking all 10 wickets in an innings while giving 20 runs, while Anshul is at second place with 10 wickets giving 49 runs. Pradeep Sunderam of Rajasthan is at third place in this list, who took 10 wickets for 78 runs.

Anshul became the sixth Indian to take 10 wickets in first class cricket.
Anshul Kamboj became the sixth bowler among Indians to take 10 wickets in an innings in first class cricket. Before this, Premangsu Chatterjee, Debashish Mohanty, Anil Kumble, Pradeep Sundreman and Subhash Gupte have achieved this feat.
