According to the report, passengers do not seem happy with the new NCMC card. Passengers say that while the smart card used to be recharged through the ticket vending machine, the NCMC card is not recharged through this machine. Along with this, this card can be recharged through ‘Airtel Thanks’ app. At the same time, you cannot recharge this card for less than Rs 200.

If you think that the card can be easily recharged only through ‘Airtel Thanks’ app, then let us tell you, it is not so. After you recharge the card through the app, you will have to get it validated by visiting the customer care of the metro station. For which you may have to wait in long lines for a long time.

DMRC said that the passengers who travel in metro through NCMC card are being given a discount of 10 percent to 20 percent on NCMC card. NCMC cards will be available at every station of the metro. Along with this, you can also buy them through the kiosks of banks.
