People living illegally in America are being returned to their country, US is sending them by special chartered flight.

New Delhi: There is a stir from Delhi to America regarding the issue of sending back Indians living illegally in America by American Homeland Security. Through a press note of the US Homeland Security Department, it was informed that the US government has sent such people back by chartered flight. There is no information yet about how many people are there and from which state they come. Meanwhile, sources related to the Indian government say that both the countries are in talks about the ongoing cooperation between the two countries regarding mobility and migration. The parties are working together in the process of preventing illegal migration. This is being done so that more legal routes can be opened to go from India to America. The move to send Indians back in chartered flights is in this direction. Is. Government sources say that such steps have been being taken for years.

Reduction in illegal migration

Actually this flight took off for India on 22 October and the press note states that similar action has been taken on other countries also. The US government says that immigration laws are being strictly followed there and instead of illegal migration, people are being asked to come to America legally. In the month of June this year, there has been a 55 percent reduction in illegal migration attempts on the US-Mexico border. Since June 2004, 160,000 people who adopted such methods have been sent to their countries through 496 flights. People from India are also included among these illegal immigrants belonging to 146 countries.

In the last one year, the Department of Homeland Security has sent citizens of countries like Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Egypt, Senegal, Uzbekistan and India back to their countries in cases of illegal migration. While giving a statement in this matter, senior Homeland Security official Christy A. Canangelo has said that those Indians who are living in America without any basis, they will be sent back. Such people should not fall prey to smugglers who mislead them.
