Nita made an entry in Ghaghra-Choli and a diamond laden necklace

Nita Ambani chose a Ghagra-Choli made by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for her son’s wedding day. With this Rangghat traditional attire, she wore a diamond necklace, bracelets and danglers. In a completely royal look, she entered with Ganesha ji in her hand with a swastika.

Genelia wore a special hand-woven sari

While most of the guests at Anant’s wedding arrived wearing worked clothes, Genelia, on the other hand, chose a saree without any bling element.

Her cream coloured attire was hand woven. Another special thing about it was that it was a vegan recycled Himroo saree.

What is Himroo Saree?

This is a saree which is made by weaving silk and cotton threads together. Zari work is done to make it more beautiful.

Himroo is a replica of the Kumkhwab which was woven with gold and silver threads in the ancient times and was meant for the royal families.

The actress’ jewellery made this queenly look even more royal. The Kundan and Polki necklace was of a unique shape. The statement neckpiece was accompanied by matching earrings and matching bracelets. Genelia also wore bangles on her hands.

At the same time, her traditional Nath (nose ring) with traditional Maharashtrian Chandra Bindi on her face and Kajraari eyes, looked extremely beautiful.
