Paper leak, stampede for jobs… Kharge attacks Modi government on unemployment citing survey

New Delhi: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday alleged that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is deceiving the youth through fake data. Citing the results of a survey, he/she also claimed that crores of youth are being misled in the name of employment generation. Kharge posted on ‘X’, ‘Covering the truth of false claims, falsification of data and decreasing jobs. Pouring has become a habit of Modi government. 82 percent youth are looking for jobs this year. 55 percent said that finding a job became difficult last year. 37 percent of the youth say that they have given up hope of finding a new job in 2025.

According to him/her, a separate survey revealed that 69 percent of Indian HR professionals feel that finding qualified talent for a role has now become more challenging. Kharge alleged that the Modi government is misleading crores of youth in the name of generating employment. he/she said, ‘Modi government has forced the youth to take away jobs through mafia raj’s tactics like paper leak, stampede for few jobs, demonetization and wrong GST by shutting down MSMEs, usurping the right to reservation, keeping government job posts vacant for years and paying Rs. 2 crores annually. Cheated with lies like offering a job.

‘Modi government just gave slogans regarding startups’

Earlier on Thursday, Kharge alleged that only hollow slogans and propaganda were made by the Central Government regarding startups in the country. he/she also claimed that more than 5000 startups will be forced to shut down (operations) in the year 2024. Kharge posted on ‘X’, ‘In 9 years, Modi government created only fraudulent startups. The fact is that Indian startups have received little to no support from the Modi government. Whatever development has taken place in the startup industry, the credit for it should go to the entrepreneurial spirit of the startup people, and not to the central government.
