Pankaj Jha took a dig at Anurag Kashyap for being replaced from ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, called him/her a coward

Pankaj Jha gained a lot of popularity by playing the role of MLA in the web series ‘Panchayat’. The way his/her sharp words and attitude were seen becoming a problem for Phulera village in the series. Similarly, in real life too, he/she is making headlines with his/her views. he/she has targeted Anurag Kashyap in an interview and has said a lot to him/her. As it is well known that Anurag Kashyap’s directed ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ is one of the best films of his/her career. It was released in two parts. From Manoj Bajpayee to Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Pankaj Tripathi, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Rajkumar Rao and many other actors were seen in it. Pankaj Tripathi was also in it, who played the role of Sultan Qureshi. However, he/she was not the first choice for this character. Rather Pankaj Jha i.e. was the MLA of ‘Panchayat’.

In response to this question, the actor said, ‘I have nothing to do with the politics that happens behind my back. The person who does this wins only when it harms me. People who do politics behind someone’s back are usually cowards, right? Otherwise, they would have come forward and stood up.’
