Palestinian filmmaker Hamdan Ballal, who won Oscars, attacked Hamdan Ballal, Israeli army detained, friend is afraid

Palestinian filmmaker Hamdan Ballal has been taken into custody by the Israeli army. Hamdan, who won the Oscar this year for his/her documentary ‘No other land’, was around his/her home in the Vest Bank village of Israel, when a group of Israeli people attacked him/her. After this attack by Israeli shelters, the Israeli army also reached there and took the filmmaker into custody. The Israeli co-director of the documentary ‘No Other Land’, Yoval Abraham, has confirmed the incident. he/she wrote, ‘A group of shelters has beaten the co-director Hamdan Ballal of our film’ No Other Land ‘. he/she suffered injuries to his/her head and stomach, bleeding. The soldiers also attacked the ambulance called by him/her and took him/her. Since then, he/she has not been detected. Yoval Abraham is a filmmaker as well as Israeli journalist.

For the documentary ‘No other land’, Hamdan Ballal worked with Yuval Abraham and fellow Palestinian filmmaker Basal Adra and Israeli cinematographer, editor and director Rachel Sor.

‘More than two dozen people attacked the village’

‘No other land’ shows destruction in the Masafar Yatta of West Bank occupied by Israeli soldiers. Yoval Abraham has also shared a video in the meantime, in which some masked people are pouring stones on a car. he/she wrote, “A group of armed masked people like KKK, who attacked Hamdan Ballal (still missing), was captured on camera.” The local report said that on Monday evening dozens of people suddenly started throwing stones. These attackers began to break the water tanks and the car windows.
