Pakistan’s entry in Kashmir elections, PM Modi has not given this statement, understand its meaning

New Delhi: The first phase of voting in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections has been completed. Two phases of elections are still left, for which all the political parties are trying their best. At the same time, the political turmoil has started intensifying due to Pakistan’s entry in this election. PM Modi raised this issue and attacked Congress and National Conference. During an election rally in Katra on Thursday, PM Modi said that we will not let Pakistan’s agenda be implemented in Jammu and Kashmir. No power in the world can bring back Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. I am saying this to Congress-National Conference openly. The way PM Modi mentioned Pakistan in the Kashmir elections is not without reason. Know the whole matter.

Congress-NC on PM Modi’s target

BJP is constantly trying to make a comeback in the Jammu and Kashmir elections. Their plan is that the party should come to power strongly in the first elections being held after the removal of Article 370. However, other parties of the valley including the Congress-NC alliance are also staking claim. In such a situation, PM Modi himself has taken charge of the front on behalf of the BJP. he/she is continuously engaged in election campaigning. During this, his/her effort is to tell the people of Jammu and Kashmir how much development has taken place in the state after the removal of Article 370. How were the conditions here earlier and how much the situation has changed now. PM Modi said in the Katra rally on Thursday that there was a time when coming to Lal Chowk, hoisting the tricolor here, was a life-threatening task. For years people were afraid to come to Lal Chowk. However, now the situation has changed. Now the hustle and bustle of both Eid and Diwali is seen in the markets of Srinagar. Now there is a hustle and bustle in the Lal Chowk market till late evening, record number of tourists are coming here from the country and the world. PM Modi tried to connect with the people of Jammu and Kashmir due to the changed situation there.

Pakistani minister’s statement targets Congress

PM Modi did not mention Pakistan in the middle of Kashmir elections without any reason. The Prime Minister raised this issue while referring to a statement by Pakistan’s Defense Minister. PM Modi said that Pakistan’s Defense Minister has openly supported the Congress-National Conference. he/she says that the agenda of Congress and National Conference regarding Article 370 and 35A is the same as Pakistan’s agenda. That is, Pakistan itself has exposed the Congress-National Conference. There are many reasons behind the way Prime Minister Modi raised this issue. his/her direct target was Congress and its ally National Conference.

Polarisation in Jammu region

Elections are being held for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir after the removal of Article 370. In August 2019, its special status and state status were taken away. This is the first assembly election after that decision. This is the reason why ‘Article 370’ remains a big issue in this election. While NC has repeatedly talked about restoring Article 370. At the same time, the agenda of the BJP leadership is clear that Article 370 cannot be brought back in Jammu and Kashmir. This is the reason why Prime Minister Modi is constantly raising this issue in election rallies. Not only this, he/she tried to give a special message to the people here by mentioning the comment made by the Pakistani minister. According to political experts, the mention of Pakistan will create a situation of polarization in the Jammu region. BJP can get the benefit of polarization of votes.

Putting Congress on the back foot

BJP is hoping that the mention of Pakistan in Kashmir elections can create an atmosphere in their favour. This is the reason why Prime Minister Modi directly targeted the Congress-NC alliance in the Katra rally. he/she said that the Congress-National Conference alliance is doing very well in Pakistan. Pakistan is very impressed by their manifesto. Ever since the wall of Article 370 has fallen, terrorism and separatism are weakening here. Jammu and Kashmir has moved towards permanent peace. During this, PM Modi targeted the previous governments of Jammu and Kashmir while trying to connect with the youth. he/she said that the youth who were not allowed to move forward have come out in the field against them. PM Modi is directly targeting the country’s main opposition party Congress in his/her election rally. his/her plan is to somehow push the Congress and their alliance on the back foot.
