ODI World Cup 2023 is starting from 5th October on Indian soil. The great match between India and Pakistan will be played on October 14 on the grounds of Ahmedabad. Fans are very excited for this. Pakistan did not get visa

According to the report of ESPNcricinfo, 9 teams including Pakistan are going to come to India to participate in the ODI World Cup 2023. Among these, visas have been given to all the teams except Pakistan, but the Pakistani team has not been able to get the visa yet. For this reason, Pakistan has canceled the team bonding program to be held in Dubai before the World Cup. Pakistan has taken this decision due to not getting visa. The Pakistani team was to fly to UAE early next week and then stay there for a few days for team bonding. After this we had to come to Hyderabad. But now there will be no team bonding program. The report further states that the Pakistan team is now planning to go from Lahore to Dubai and from there to Hyderabad.

Pakistan has to play two practice matches

Before the ODI World Cup 2023, Pakistan has to play its first practice match against New Zealand at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad. This practice match will be played without fans in the stadium. Because the local police could not assure adequate security for the match. Pakistan team will play the second practice match against Australia on 3 October.

Political relations between India and Pakistan deteriorated after the terrorist attacks in Mumbai in 2008. Pakistan last toured India for a bilateral series in 2012-13. After that Pakistan team also came to India to participate in T20 World Cup 2016. Political relations have also had a negative impact on the cricket of both the countries.
