New York : Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif addressed the United Nations General Assembly for the first time on Friday. Now India has responded to Shehbaz Sharif’s speech at the UNGA using its ‘right to reply’. Apart from the terrible floods and economic crises in Pakistan, Shahbaz spewed venom on Kashmir. Once again the Pakistani Prime Minister asked India to withdraw the decision to remove Article 370 in Kashmir. A few days ago, the Organization of Islamic Countries in New York, OIC, also urged India to withdraw the decision to remove Article 370.
Indian representative Mijito Vinito said that we are sorry that the Prime Minister of Pakistan used the forum of this General Assembly to make false allegations against India. He has done this to hide the misdeeds in his own country and justify action against India. Slamming Pakistan, he said that a country which claims peace with its neighbours, will never encourage cross-border terrorism or give shelter to the perpetrators of the horrific Mumbai terror attack.
War is not a solution… Shahbaz has also uttered his old Kashmir rage in the UN, said- India should withdraw the decision on Article 370
‘Peace will come with the end of cross-border terrorism’
Mijito Vinito said that the dream of peace and security in the Indian subcontinent can be realized. This will happen when cross-border terrorism stops and minorities will not be persecuted. On Friday, Shahbaz had said that we want peace with India but lasting peace and stability in South Asia is possible only through a ‘solution’ of the Kashmir issue. He had said that India should take credible steps to create a conducive environment for constructive engagement. We are neighbors and it will be our decision whether to live in peace or fight with each other.
‘Both countries are armed but war is not an option’
Sharif said, “I think this is the right time when India should clearly understand the message that both the countries are armed with weapons. Rust is not an option. Only peaceful dialogue can solve these issues so that the world becomes more peaceful in the times to come. Sharif said New Delhi has increased its military deployment in Jammu and Kashmir, making it the most militarized region in the world. “Pakistani people have stood with Kashmiris and will continue to stand by them,” he said.
