New Delhi. The ICC deadline ended on Tuesday to change the Champions Trophy squad. Pakistan has decided not to make any changes in its team selected for the Champions Trophy. The selectors reviewed the team after extensive criticism for the inclusion of some players. Diggg Wasim Akram has also questioned Pakistan’s Champions Trophy Squad but PCB did not listen to anyone. Naqvi and selectors reviewed the 15 -member team after criticizing the selection of batsman Khushdil Shah and all -rounder Faheem Ashraf.

A reliable source of PCB said that no change will be made in the last time, even though the time limit for changes by the Technical Committee of the International Cricket Council (ICC) is ending on Tuesday. The source said, “The same 15 players will represent Pakistan in the upcoming (Champions Trophy) tournament and if a player gets hurt then the option will be chosen as per the rules of the ICC tournament.” Some former players and experts of Pakistan’s Champions Trophy team had strongly criticized for not having more than one specialist opener and selecting only one expert spinner Abrar Ahmed.

Former Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram had questioned all -rounder Faheem Ashraf in the 15 -member team for the Champions Trophy. Fahim last played an ODI match for Pakistan in September 2023. Akram Faheem is surprised to join the Champions Trophy team. Fheen scored 224 runs in 34 ODIs at an average of 10.66 while he/she has also taken 26 wickets. Akram said that Faheem’s bowling average in the last 20 matches is 100. And the batting average is nine. We will only get down with an expert spinner. I think the Indian team has three-four spinners.
