Chasing the target of 330 runs, the top-6 batsmen of the South African team made a good start but except Klaasen, no one could play a big innings. Heinrich Klaasen scored 97 runs in 74 balls. The second top scorer of the team was Tony De Georgi, who played an inning of 34 runs. David Miller was out after scoring 29 runs. None of the remaining batsmen could touch the 25-run mark.
