Pakistan defeated South Africa at home, won not only the match but also the series, Afridi’s blast after Babar-Rizwan

New Delhi. Pakistan, which often surprises with its performances, has now created a stir in South Africa. Pakistan, which often loses to novice teams, has defeated South Africa at home. The Pakistani team defeated host Africa by 81 runs in the second ODI match late on Thursday night. This is his/her second consecutive victory. With this, Pakistan has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match ODI series.

The second ODI between Pakistan and South Africa was played in Cape Town. South Africa won the toss and bowled first. Pakistan liked this decision more than the African team. Thanks to the innings of Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Kamran Ghulam, he/she scored 329 runs in 50 overs. In response, the South African team was all out after scoring 248 runs in 43.1 overs.

Batting first, Pakistan lost the wickets of both its openers within 53 runs. When Saim Ayub was out after scoring 25 runs, Abdullah Shafiq could not open his/her account. But after this, Babar Azam (74) and Mohammad Rizwan (80) not only took Pakistan under control but also took their team towards a big score. Kamran Ghulam batted fast in the last overs and scored 63 runs in 32 balls.

Klaasen’s 97 runs did not work
Chasing the target of 330 runs, the top-6 batsmen of the South African team made a good start but except Klaasen, no one could play a big innings. Heinrich Klaasen scored 97 runs in 74 balls. The second top scorer of the team was Tony De Georgi, who played an inning of 34 runs. David Miller was out after scoring 29 runs. None of the remaining batsmen could touch the 25-run mark. Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah bowled excellently for Pakistan. Afridi took 4 wickets and Naseem Shah took 3 wickets. Abrar Ahmed took 2 wickets in his/her name.
