Pak will attack Bangladesh with pace attack, Shanto remembers his/her game changer

New Delhi . Pakistan’s team will surround Bangladesh with its fast bowlers in the first Test match starting on Wednesday. Both the teams will face each other in Rawalpindi in the first Test of the two-match series. Pakistan had announced its playing eleven for the first Test match 48 hours in advance. Four fast bowlers have got a place in the Pakistan team while no specialist spinner will play in the first Test. Bangladesh will expect a ‘special performance’ from one of its most experienced players, all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, to deal with the challenge of Pakistan’s fast bowlers in this Test. Former captain Shakib is one of the best all-rounders in the world who has the ability to win the match for the team on his/her own with left-handed batting and bowling.

On the eve of the first Test to be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh captain Najmul Hussain Shanto said, ‘he/she (Shakib) has been playing for a long time. he/she knows his/her role. he/she knows how to prepare himself. So I am not thinking about his/her political career. And I hope he/she will do something special in this series. he/she is a professional cricketer and honestly, we all treat him/her like a cricketer.’ During the political turmoil in Bangladesh, Shakib was playing in the T20 league in Canada.

Bangladesh reached 4 days ago
The team’s preparations were hampered due to unrest in the country. Bangladesh reached Pakistan four days before the scheduled time for three days of additional practice in Lahore. Both the Test matches of the series will be played in Rawalpindi. This series is part of the World Test Championship, in which Pakistan is at sixth place while Bangladesh is at eighth position. Pakistan’s record against Bangladesh is excellent. The team has won 12 out of 13 Test matches played between the two countries. The Test played in Khulna in 2015 was a draw. Shanto said, ‘We have a good and balanced team and we are confident that we will be able to do something special this time.’

4 years ago, Naseem had taken a hat-trick on this ground
Shanto said that the team will face a tough challenge against Pakistan’s four-fast bowler attack led by Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah. Pakistan’s fast bowlers played an important role in the innings and 44-run victory against Bangladesh on the same ground four years ago. In this match, Naseem Shah took a hat-trick of wickets, in which Shanto was also included.
