Pak vs Zim: Pakistan made Zimbabwe drink water, captured the series, defeated by 99 runs

New Delhi. The third ODI was played between Pakistan and Zimbabwe. In this match, Pakistan registered a spectacular victory by 99 runs. Besides, they have also won this series by 2-1. Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan won the toss in this match and decided to bat first. Abdullah Shafiq and Saim Ayyub came out to open for Pakistan.

Saim Ayyub was out after scoring 31 runs. So right there, Shafiq hit a brilliant fifty. he/she played an inning of 50 runs in 68 balls. Kamran Ghulam, who came at number three, played a brilliant century innings. he/she took over the innings and played a brilliant inning of 103 runs in 99 balls. In his/her innings he/she hit 10 fours and 4 sixes. This was his/her first century in ODI cricket. Captain Rizwan scored 37, Agha Salman scored 30 and Tayyab Tahir scored 29 runs.

On the basis of excellent batting, Pakistan scored 303 runs in 50 overs and gave a target of 304 runs to Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe team failed to chase this target and could score only 204 runs in 40.1 overs. Captain Craig Irwin scored 51 runs for Zimbabwe. Whereas, Brian Bennett scored 37 runs. In this way he/she lost this series also.

T20 series will be played from December 1
After the ODI series, Pakistan team will play T20 series against Zimbabwe. It will start from 1st December. The first T20 will be played on 1 December in Bulawayo, the second on 3 December in Bulawayo and the third on 5 December in the same stadium.
