PAK vs BAN: Pakistan announced playing 11 for the first test


New Delhi. The first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played in Rawalpindi from Wednesday (21 August). Pakistan has announced its playing XI for this Test match. There is not a single specialist spinner in Pakistan’s final XI, which is a surprising decision. The team captained by Shan Masood has 4 specialist fast bowlers. Pakistan has given a chance to four pacers in the XI in the form of Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Khurram Shahzad and Mohammad Ali.

Saud Shakeel and Salman Ali Agha will be present in the Pakistan team as spin options. At the same time, Babar Azam and young Sam Ayub will also have a chance to play a brilliant innings. Naseem Shah’s record against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi has been memorable. In 2020, he/she achieved the distinction of becoming the youngest to take a hat-trick at the age of 16. Naseem took a hat-trick by dismissing Nazmul Hussain Shanto, Taijul Islam and Mahmudullah on three consecutive balls. Pakistan won this Test match by an innings and 44 runs.
