Talk on relations between India and China
Prime Minister Modi expressed his/her opinion on several important issues in a three -hour long podcast. he/she described relations between India and China as important for global stability and prosperity. The differences between neighboring countries were described as natural as differences between family members. Modi expressed grief over the incident in the Galwan Valley in 2020 and insisted on finding a solution through talks.
‘We are doing work on improving relationship’
Referring to his/her meeting with Chinese President Xi Chinfing in October last year, PM Modi said, “However, after a recent meeting with President Xi, we have seen the return of general status on the border. ‘India and China relations are not new’
Modi said that relations between India and China are not new because the culture and civilizations of both countries are ancient. he/she said, “Even in the modern world, they play an important role. If you look at the historical record, India and China have learned from each other for centuries.
he/she said, “Together together, he/she has always contributed to the global goodness in some way or the other. Old records suggest that at one time India and China alone had more than 50 percent of the world’s GDP. How big was India. I believe that our relations with deep cultural relations have been very strong. ”
‘No history of conflict between us’
During the conversation that lasted for more than three hours, the Prime Minister said that if we look back centuries, there is no real history of conflict between India and China. he/she said, ‘It has always been about learning from each other and understanding each other. At one time, Buddhism had a profound influence in China and that philosophy originated in India. ‘
he/she said, ‘Our relationship should be equally strong in future and should continue to move forward. Differences are natural. When there are two neighboring countries, there is sometimes disagreement. ‘ The Prime Minister said that everything in the family is not right, but our effort is to ensure that differences are not transformed into disputes.
he/she said, “Therefore we are actively working towards negotiation. Instead of controversy, we insist on dialogue, because only through dialogue we can create a permanent cooperative relationship that meets the best interests of the two countries. ”
