Our preparation is not good… Before the World Cup, Aakash Chopra expressed his/her displeasure with Team India, told where the shortcomings are

New Delhi. The T20 World Cup has started. India will play its first match against Ireland on June 5. The Indian team has also reached America for this. Team India is ready for this. Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has expressed his/her displeasure. Aakash Chopra has said that the preparation of the Indian team is not good this year. We had such a problem in the last World Cup as well. Which is emerging this time as well.

he/she said, “Is India not ready for another T20 World Cup? Are we still not figuring out our batting line-up? Who is the opener and finisher? Should we find out all this in the World Cup itself? Yes, India prefers left-right combinations, but it is almost certain to go with two right-handed batsmen along with Rohit and Kohli. Rishabh Pant will probably bat at No. 3, followed by Suryakumar Yadav, and his/her exit will depend on whether the management sends Shivam Dubey or Hardik Pandya again. Then Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel.”

T20 World Cup: Pant or Sanju Samson, who should get a chance in the playing XI? Sunil Gavaskar expressed his/her choice

Aakash Chopra further said, “Since the end of the last T20 World Cup in 2022, we have been playing with almost the same XI and the same batting order. So, what have we changed? The roles have changed a bit. I think our preparation is not that good. We are still trying to overcome it. We have talent, but the last time we opened with Rohit and Rahul, Kohli at 3… it did not benefit at all. It is bothering me a bit. This is a warning for us.”
